Introducing to you the steel drum music of Sir Cedrick Luces, south Florida and the Florida Keys most

sought after Steel Drum Player and Miami’s 1991 Calypso King. Cedrick was born on the Island of

Trinidad, in Laventille, which is the birthplace of steel drums. As a teenager, Cedrick toured Venezuela

with the famous Belmont Steel Band. In his twenties, Cedrick came to the United States and played with celebrated jazz pannist, Othello Mollineaux, and performed with the legendary jazz bass player, Jaco Pastorius.
